The Long Range Planning Division is preparing an Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) public workshop about changes to the Polk County Comprehensive Plan. Come see what is being proposed in response to the issues of the community.
Topics to be covered include: Direct Growth to City Centers, Invest in Multi-Modal Corridors, Provide a Network of Multi-Use Trails, Preserve and Acquire Green Areas, Conserve Agricultural Lands, Water Conservation, Housing, Conduct Joint Planning, Establish Urban Service Areas, and Create “Smart-Growth” Zones.
